I have had an eye on this ride for a couple years
Has anyone been, or know someone that has been, on this ride?

Here is the email they sent me:
The 15th Extreme Rally Raid Cambodia 2012

Are you ready for the ultimate dirt-bike adventure? If you’re up for a challenge and a whole lot of adrenaline, then come join us on our annual 15th Extreme Rally Raid in January 2012.

Get into the heart of Cambodia and journey deep into the jungle through to the Laos, Thailand and Vietnam borders. Cross rivers in dug-out canoes. Visit gold mines, remote villages and ancient temples. Share a beer with mates and fall asleep under the stars.

On the Extreme Rally we cover over 2,000 kms in 12 days, get off the beaten path and ride at night, cross borders illegally and go where other tour companies never ever dare. Be warned, this rally is for serious riders only and not novices. If you only want to stay in hotels and take time to smell-the-roses, then this one’s not for you.

Sounds great but I will have to really get into major condition to last the 10 Days, won’t be too hard just treat myself like I have my racehorses get them winning fit.

The 450 Husaberg is purring like a kitten and rearing to go somewhere , can’t keep it on the ground Ha! Ha!

I am guessing this is the link http://toursintheextreme.com/ I have been looking at bike tours of the area both road and dirt, ever since I was there last year. Will get back there soon for a ride but as the other half will be coming with me it will most likely be more road orientated.

I’m not sure what bikes they hire maybe brp’s I don’t think they would be really late model stuff the website is http://toursintheextreme.com/

You have a choice of these bikes Xlr 250 (Lrp) Xlr baja
2 stroke Crm 250s cr250 the ones on their page look pretty new

go the CRM 250ar… Purple ones with the Mugen kit go the best:silly: that is if they are later CRM’s. very under rated bike…. dunno why honda canned em.

guess not enough interest and the guy that was developing the AR/ Activated Radical combustion lost his Honda funding for RnD:angry:

Hey Scotty, how hard was it to tip the Elephant onto 2 legs to prime the carb for a cold start??:pinch: :whistle: :woohoo: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

i think the model you rode was more efficient than the BRP’s delivered out here:lol:
