Southend Wato’s Saturday 11-6-11

Just like to thank all the boys for a great day out and a awsome ride.I dont know how Murph , Tim, and Axel backed up today ? Like moto said we may have only rode around 60ks but a couple of the hills with the conditions made for great entertainment with plenty of spills.I have to say it was great catching up and meeting the blokes that i had not met.Pretty tough way of making the transition back to the bush after a hell of a long time away ,but stoked with the whole ride.
Looking forward to the next one as well

G’day again team. I have some photos and notes of Saturday. Sunday was too wet for my $30 camera…

So long 5.5hr drive Friday evening got me to single trail central. Expecting showers this weekend, no problem.
Got to the starting point first nice and early for some wet weather preparation. Perfect weather for a spin.
We had Seb, Pikey, Littswood, Moto, Murph and Smurph show up in time for the 10am start. Nice spread of noisy 4 bangers and hardcore 2 smokes.
Very nice selection of single tracks (some seemed quite new), reasonably tricky hill climbs and some lovely flowing firetrail to dial down the adrenalin a little for the next challenge around the corner.

Re-assembling the 525 after the excursion. Tools made an appearance. Toiletry bag is a great idea to hold tools:

This nearly changed everything (Seb). Not the quickest line that one:
