Had my surgery last night, got back to my room about 8.30pm. No pain all night except for a headache and the same this morning when I left. 1 hour later and I am reaching for the Panadeine Forte, had 6 so far today and no relief. Got physio this afternoon too, hope I get some sleep tonight.
Doctor said all went well, fixed the torn rotator cuff and torn bicep tendon.

Adam.
Could be up to 6 months, for off road work at least.
June 15, 2011 at 5:50 pm #203421Jeffro, I’ll watch your recovery with interest. I injured my shoulder a couple weeks back at work. Dr reckons rotator cuff tear. I had an ultrasound today and will wait for results.
Good luck mate.

With the amount of riding you got in the first six months this year you will still end up riding more than most by the end of it.
Good luck for a speedy recovery and do as much physio as you can.STM
