In the time of poor customer service I would like to take this opportunity to thank Team Moto Yamaha at Blacktown. My Tenere is actually a couple of months out of warranty and recently I had discovered a problem with my rear hub not to mention the ongoing cush drive rubbers wearing out every 4000kms. My local Yamaha dealer that is as handy as a kick in the kegs didn’t want to know about the problem except to quote me an over inflated price to supply a new hub and a labour quote that would build the space shuttle from scratch.
My first contact at Team Moto was Brian in spares, after a quick discussion Brian took my details and later that day emailed me requesting my VIN number etc. After a couple of days Shane from service contacted me asking to inspect the bike. They spoke with Yamaha and a policy support decision was made. Just before I went to the states I dropped the bike at Team Moto, they replaced my rear hub, all the bearings, seals, full set of new spokes and cush drive rubbers. I had a new tyre fitted at the same time, they balanced the wheel and cleaned my bike. I would like to thank the guys for the great service and communication throughout the whole process

That is the sort of service that brings back repeat business. Good on team Moto for going the extra yard.

Not the first time I’ve heard good things about Team Moto at Blacktown. My brother in law has a Triumph addiction and has been through a fleet of few years has had two Daytona’s and now has a Rocket and a thruxton, all brought from Team Moto.

One of the Daytona’s developed a crack in the rear swingarm and Team Moto got Triumph to take the whole bike back.

That’s great service most businesses would ignore any claim out of the warrenty period. Nice work Team Moto looking after the customer will no doubt see you get some old bull custom ;)
