After I had a ride on STMs bike fitted with a new Rekluse and DY4 went to Mt. Seaview and saw the pros in action we got talking and wondered if anyone knew if any pro riders use the rekluse and has it improved their results ?

I wonder if their are any rules against them as they do seem to give a huge advantage ?

Nah,,I took mine out because when i race if the battery plays up, I cant push start the bike. not to mention the loss of engine braking on them extreme down hills I tear down..

Not sure if he was pulling one over my eyes, but Sutto was saying that that both grabbo and price both use them and have shaved minutes off their previous race times!!

I can`t see them being an advantage when holding the bike pinned at 150+ k on desert runs where those guys dominate.
Obviously the rekluse is suited to slower technical stuff, climbing etc

Sutto does know his stuff though, so it is most likely correct :)

Yeah more then you realise use them ;) I don’t know about minutes but there would be massive benefits in that you can’t stall it, if you drop it it’s still running. Deejay I need to have a ride on yours on saturday after talking with Nick re rekules I have some questions to answer
