 Hey Guys,
Had my TTR250 pinched last night in the Parramatta / Oatlands area, I know there is not much chance of recovery but any you never know if one of you awesome people may see it.
the Rego is PJK36, Yamaha Blue, with 70/30 road tyresthanks
a very pissed off BenderSeptember 1, 2011 at 4:32 pm #208007Thats no good mate, I will keep my eye out up this way. Was it stolen from home? Steve
September 1, 2011 at 5:02 pm #208022Thanks DRool, yeah was parked out the front, rang the local wreckers, and tyre places and bike shops, as the will only get it going by hotwiring the ignition, and or replacing it. It also has 70/30’s on it so anyone wanting to cain it will try and swap the tyres for something more aggressive
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrSeptember 1, 2011 at 6:42 pm #208008Mate search the close bush land and known areas that the scum take stolen vehicles may have just be joy ridden  a TTR250 eh didnt think they would have been a high demand bike
Good luck will keep my ear to the ground

Cheers Teza.September 16, 2011 at 2:06 pm #208011well the insurance company paid me out, happy with that,
just wasn’t aware that they take the excess off. so $5200 – $600 ok can live with that,
but what confused me is that they then deduct the cost of rego and greenslip from the payout as well, and expect you to recover that from the RTA.
Didn’t realise I was insuring my registration as well??????? – bastardsSeptember 16, 2011 at 2:18 pm #208012Didn’t know the insurance co’s deducted rego and green slip, whats that got to do with market value? Must be in the fine print somewhere.
Mate from work donated his old purple rim TTR to the scum and was in his yard in an out of the way suburb where he must have been followed to get the position.

September 16, 2011 at 3:25 pm #208013Rego and greenslip are deducted from your payout with all insurers as you get a refund for those from the RTA and CTP insurer. Make sure you get a letter from the RTA to state the rego has been cancelled and present it to your Greenslip insurer for refund processing (up to 4 weeks).
