I am going for a ride with Nick, this is a replacement for the cancelled Camerons ride. We will be leaving Silverton on Saturday morning the 8th of Oct, two cabins have been booked at http://www.silverton.org.au/penrose.htm at this stage that sleeps 8. We are trailering our bikes to Silverton and can park the cars at the van park for the week.

The ride will take us through to Yunta, the Flinders ranges, Marree Oodnadatta, William creek, Coober Pedy, Ingomar, Blinman, Glendambo, Kingoonya, Mount Ive and Carriewerloo to name a few places we will see ( not in any particular order )

This is ride is two mates going for a ride, no one is invited but people are welcome to follow us at their own risk. It isn’t an organised ride just a ride as stated. We plan to camp every night, we aren’t sure of fuel distances (will be taking a bladder for Justin) aren’t sure of the miles we will be doing we just will. We have nothing booked or will be booking anything. We don’t know where water or shops are, really we don’t but it is an Adventure Ride! We may not even get beers every night OMG! But we will have an adventure.

Speak up if you would like to follow of your own free will and responsibility. There is no ride grade, can’t say if it will be easy or hard make sure you understand that. No one will be left behind, Old Bulls don’t do that it is one in all in as always. If you are coming we would recommend you ride in pairs like has happened in the past, can’t get a partner we will sort something.

We are aiming to be back at Silverton by Sunday afternoon / evening the 16th. That’s the planned return time, I must also state here that as it’s an adventure ride anything could happen and we maybe early or late with that arrival time as it’s a long way to get there and a one shot ride. Obviously this is right up the alley of the guys that are packed and set do Camerons.

Thats the ride, it’s a no frills, no guarantee but it will be an adventure somewhere in SA. At this stage the guys on the list have been explained what we are doing and wish to follow along of their own free will and try their luck

From the towns mentioned, if we went north enough and the tracks were open we could cut east through the elusive Cameron Corner on the way south to Silverton.

Mate will add you straight away, just need everybody that’s going to read and understand so they don’t say “I didn’t know that :laugh: ” will add Mick Krusty and Gaz as soon as they are clear and they know what’s going on ok?

I also tried ringing you last night multiple times

As for Camerons we aren’t going that way on this trip. I know you should never say never but we AREN’T going that way this time mate :laugh: BTW as posted in the Camerons thread the Simpson is shut again anyway

I have discussed the situation and changes with the minister of Finance and War as well as the Minister of Job Security and have been granted the seal of approval by all said Ministers..

I have verbally and thoroughly discussed the situation with the CEO of OLD BULLS and I stand under what has been put forth and I would like to exercise my own free will and I hereby let it be known I would like to follow…

All maintenance requested to be completed from the Cameron Corner ride has been competed.

There will be a conference call on Monday night the 3rd of Oct at 8pm. It will only be short there isnt much to go over that I know off

I reckon this ride will better than Camerons, Camerons is so last night :laugh: :laugh:

At this point, I have read all the Blah Blah at the start of this thread and to be honest, I actually understood all of it. It was in very easy to read english and after running it through spell check, could not fault it.

After doing some simple maths, it would appear that there is not enough beds on offer here. Even if Boulder and Fish sleep together, we are still one short.

After speaking with his Lords Ship this morning it may well be that you are heading into an old stomping ground of mine as well. Charming little shit hole called Mintabi. Well it was when I left there close to 30 years ago.

Any way, I’ve crapped on long enough now so the only question that remains un answered is, am I going to be Krusty’s wing man ?

We just ran it through Mircosoft office spell check and it will do for here OK smarty :laugh:

Extra cabin booked now at Silverton, there are 3 cabins booked. Two to sleep 4 each and one to sleep 2. Cost of all three will be split 10 ways

(Maybe the Boulder brothers can have their own private oasis :laugh: :laugh: )
