    Hi All,

I came across this is the local paper. Whilst I appreciate that there is some merit in what they say, I do enjoy getting out there early just for a quick blat, get some stamina, check out modifcations etc.

Can we hammer their Letters to the editor section please? They are inviting a response……

Can we also get the word spread to fellow riders and onto the various forums?

    Have a good night
    Cheers

    Hey Action,

You know the problem is out there! It’s the same as what goes on around the streets of Menai & Barden Ridge – unlicenced & unregoed, couldn’t care less about anyone else but themselves, don’t care less about the damage they do to the reputation of ALL motorbike riders – Dickhead young fellas that know it all !!

There’s a whole lot of merit in it. Every unregistered and/or unlicensed dickhead out there is making trouble for the rest of us.

Rec Rego will cost almost the same Boony so lets leave it out of this argument ;)

The area is question has had a few deaths in the previous few years be it from head ons, no helmets etc. The area needs a clean out, I have to agree with Crash. I have ridden there years ago, its out of control

Rec rego is only for those that care Boony, if they cared enough in the first place they would be registered already IMO

I don’t really know the area. So is it all unregistered bikes causing the trouble or is it registered bikes riding where they shouldn’t as well. ie in national park etc. I don’t mean to be super critical, I’ve ridden in places where I shouldn’t as well. Just trying to point out that we maybe shouldn’t be so holier than thou. unregistered riders is a problem, so is not having enough places to ride legally. Riding in places where we shouldn’t wouldn’t be helping the cause either. So how do we get more places to ride.

The problem is the unregulated trails I would think. Makes no difference if the riders are registered or have a liscense. Too many bike riders and no control of the direction they ride or where they ride.
I am not condoning no rego or license but you all have to agree the price of rego on a bike is the main reason people don’t have it.
However it still doesn’t solve the risk of head on crashes on public property. We all face the chance of this any time we go into the scrub.

Almost had a head on today in a section of Bago I consider to be a very low traffic area, so i could only imaging how crazy it gets down around Sydney.
