A Day at the Track with Seth and Bubba

I was organising the TV marketing for the Crusty Ride Day at the Coffs moto track so I thought it would be a great opportunity to take my bike along and ride the tracks.
I have never ridden a motocross or flat track so I was pretty excited to get the chance. You only had to pay for a day licence and you were good to ride all day.
Seth Enslow and Bubba were there promoting Gangsta Surf and drew a crowd of keen locals.

It was time for the seniors to hit the Motocross track so I geared up and got my stuff together. Just as I was about to go out Seth walked past and said hello I took the chance to get a photo with the legend and have a chat. He is a really mellow guy and took the time to mingle with everyone there.

Now it was time to make my motocross debut :woohoo: I was a bit nervous but I had watched the groms get around the track and it did not look like there was anything too gnarly. There were about 8 in seniors and I was the only one with an enduro bike but everyone was very welcoming and when they waved us on I just waited till they all took off and jumped in behind them.

I had a ball and lasted the full 15 min moto without getting lapped so I was pretty stoked!

I had a great day and when my boys are old enough I will get them involved in the club and do some veterans races while I am there.
