    Those of you who own a late model KTM would know that the bottom of the stand is plastic. At the last ride at Coffs I broke the bottom off my stand. I kept the part that broke off and repaired it in about 10min.
    I drilled the bottom of the stand, taped a thread in the plastic and installed a 6 x 1mm helicoil I then drilled the foot and installed a 6mm SHC screw (with Loctite) 25mm long. If it lasts the test of time it will save me around $170 for a new stand. :whistle: :whistle: ;)

    Great work Lefty ;)

    Can’t help but think but on the last Coffs ride if you bike didn’t spend so much time broken down sitting on it side stand it may not have broken :laugh: :P :pinch:
