Had the privilage to go for a ride on saturday with Jess Gardiner her Father and couple of boys from the GJ Gardener Building Franchise, it was perfect conditions, however surviving on 3 hours sleep and lots of alcohol from the previous evening, it was not ideal for me. I managed to be half awake by the time I made clarence, geared up and waited for the others to arrive. I was put in the lead for the first part of the morning, I managed maybe 10-15minutes good riding before the worst hangover in the world hit me. I kept going for about an hour and then had to hand the honours to hoges to lead the rest, I was quite happy at that point to sweep.

Riding conditions were perfect, no rain, no dust, overcast ground was moist lots of water in the puddles we started with some nice twin trail to get warmed up, hoges wanted to go straight to the single but I managed to change that, we did the camp ground side that we don’t usually ride, there was some really sweet singles and twins, some good obstacles, rocks, mud, everything. I managed to stay on most of the day other than 1 slip on a log, it was hard work getting the bike back up as I really was in no state and really should not have been riding but I couldn’t miss this one. Jess is a really nice down to earth girl, happy to talk about her riding and racing exploits, you can check her website at http://www.jessgardiner.com.

Photos and vids to come when I find my camera,

    Cheers
    Chris.

It is great riding with faster riders than you, isnt it Chris. I pulled her out of a bog hole at this years 2 day enduro at Sunny Corner. I couldnt let her lose because of a poor line selection. It was easy to tell it was her as she runs the ttr 250 forks. She did say thanks as she took off.
