    Toying with the idea of a ride from Newy thru the Watagans to Bucketty, down to St Albans & Wisemans, then out across Wheelbarrow Ridge and Mountain Lagoon, Colo to Bilpin.
    Looking to camp a night somewhere on the way and just really have a cruisy ride over two days, checking out the area from Wisemans to Bilpin as I am yet to ride there at all :whistle:

    departing Friday 13th Jan 3.30pmish , ride to Mogo Creek to camp.
    Ride from Wisemans to Bilpin on the sat to camp and return home Sunday,,,

    Interested unless its when this is on, this

    Ridden all that heaps but for a camp out and a ride anywhere like I said if doesnt clash with the Trailzone ride I am in.
    There is a good spot down the bottom of the gorge behind Bilpin, ripper spot on the river

    Depends on the dates for the Trailzone Ride you talk about I suppose :whistle:
    I might be even keen to camp out two nights , maybe Mogo on the friday night before the run over to Bilpin etc
    AM keen to have a poke around while I`m down there, seeing the sites (rock carvings maybe etc)

    Nothing even close to sorted yet, just putting it out there ;)

    Well, that is a clash of dates hey ??? :whistle:

    No dramas, it can be later I suppose like Feb sometime ;)
    Will work on it after Xmas , lets see who is keen and available first ,,,,,,

    I’ll be keen Eags. Will have to check to make sure it doesn’t clash with my on-call weekend but if a date is set soon i should be able to swap weekends. Also i thought the public holiday was a Thursday next year? :huh:

    Yep, You are correct about the thursday (Aussie Day)
    I will check our RDO Roster for 2012 then & see what I can organise.

    Would be good to have a guide that knows the area well, but we can wing it if needed :laugh:

    Mate just checked my roster and i’m too slow to get my leave app in to take the friday off so i won’t be able to on that weekend. The weekend before I have the friday and money off if that helps.

    I’d be in that ride Eags, depending on my roster of course as I only get every second weekend off. The Jan long weekend is one I do have off so if look at every second weekend after that I should be good to go.

    When is this Jan long weekend everyone talks about? Australia day is on a Thursday this year isn’t it :huh:

    Yeah it is,,,,
    But a lot of workplaces have the friday booked in for an RDO, which still gives you a4 day LONG WEEKEND ;) :woohoo:

    I am pretty sure ours is locked in the same (need to check tomorrow)
    I am happy to do this ride in mid Feb if it means some more numbers though, can work in with yourself, Jeffro & Deano etc
    An ordinary weekend will be enough, just means a one night camp instead of two :whistle:
    Us Newy blokes can still leave on a Fri arvo after work & ride to Mogo or St Albans to camp anyway if it suits……

    Hey doesn’t matter to me weekend b4 or after the trailzone ride I will be there :laugh: do it whenever I was just wondering about the long weekend everyone was on about ;)

    I only get 1 weekend a fortnight but it is always a long weekend, 4 days in fact :)

    Ok, I will talk to the Minister and set a date tomorrow (most likely in Feb to suit more riders)

    Will also probably squeeze in a Wisemans day ride for lunch at the Pub in before then too ;)
    Keep the eyes peeled B)
