Well I picked up my 2008 CRF 250x today from Wauchope and a massive thank you to TB and Moose for getting it from the middle of Sydney to their for me :)

Thanks too to Aaron for l letting me ride his Crf250x at the Coffs ride and finally help me make up my mind which bike to go for next !!!!

I paid $7800 for it with 791km and it’s done none of the riding I’m going to do to it :D  . In 2008 the Crf250x came with Tag bars , Rad guards , bash plate and Barkbusters .

Once home I  got on it straight away and had a ride around my place to see how she felt and she felt really good :) . Then I got rid of some of the ADR gear like reflectors , mirrors , blinkers ,safety stickers etc. Added an Old Bull sticker and gave it a plastic polish with some VuPlex .

I’m going for a ride with King STM on Sunday and will then work out what else needs to be done. I’m thinking pivot pegs , pipe, jetting, maybe a damper and some suspension work should do it ;)

Nick you will love it. I test rode a 2010 at Mount Seaview early this year & really enjoyed just didn’t have the coin to buy it ( kids got new bikes instead) so had to settle for a wr250. But I am really enjoying the 250 over for 450. best thing I ever done.

    cheers puddles

How easy is it to ride a bike that turns & stops when you want it too? A few less ponies, but hey I reckon it’s perfect for the tighter stuff!

Nice one Nick B) They sure are fun to ride in the tight stuff. PDUB loves his I think he has just put some Kibble white Stainless steel valves in it tho. Be good to catch up for a ride with ya (one day) :(
