Got up Sunday a bit latter then plained as I was going for a fish, rang the sun-inlaw and he said he was too crook  I said to the missis I may a well get the KLR650 out and go for a bit of a ride.
Out to Albatross, up Nerriga Rd then turned up Parma fire trail, down through the two creek crossings.
Starting to get use to the bike and had the tail out around a turn and this long black stick came into view in the middle of the road :pinch: BLACK SNAKE, hit it with the front tyre and me foot, skidded to a stop, side stand down and off looking as to where is me new mate
Could not see it anywhere checked out the bike and had a look around, back on, down parma creek fire trail and out onto Turpentine Rd, Down to the Hwy and throught Wandandian, turned at Boyds lookout road and onto Twelve Mile Rd,
Up to the lookout and the 650 with a full tank is a lot different to the klx400, turned left into the second part of Twelve mile, past three 4WDs and then around a corner and this big mud patch appaired that the 4wds had messed up.
Had a look and went to the left, 3 deep holes about 4 meters long with a bit of branchers on the left, into the first one, bike started sliding towards the branchers, its OK they are small, fairing brushed the leaves away and
there is a 3 inch round broken off tree trunk in it, went staright under the bars and hit me in the ribbs.
Ass over head in the mud, bke laying on me foot and me trying to get my lung out of my throught, got me foot out turned off the key and fuel and limped around for about 5 minutes.
Finaly picked the bike up and got it going, got back on and down to Nerriga road and home, felt every bump, all the way home the bike was running like a pig.
After a shower had a look at the bike, scratched fairing broken clutch switch and choke cable mount broken so the choke was on all the way home, marked RH side cover from me foot and scratched crash bar, And me PRIDE.
Misses come home and said “YOU SHOULD HAVE GONE FISHING”
