I have wanted to have a crack at this for a couple of years now, and tomorrow is the day.

My longest day ride is going to start at Faulconbridge NSW at 5.41am as the sun rises. And hopefully end in Cameron Corner before sunset approx 1200km later. The weather has not been kind out there so it should be interesting once I get out past Bourke.
    Ready to go

    GOOD LUCK MATE!
Your spot address is saved to my HTC and I will be cheering you all the way.
I am confused though? Didn’t it take the OBT adventure crew two years to get Cameron Corner :P

Good luck mate. That’s a huge day in the saddle. The butt cheeks will raw when you finally get off for any longer than a fuel stop.

    Bike looks sweet too.

He just passed me at Wentworth Falls at 05:57. The weather is terrible, roads slippery and it’s foggy and raining.

Once past Lithgow it should fine up.

Good luck, wish I could have been heading out there as well.

Do all “competitors” start at the same place. I always thought it started at byron bay being the most easterly point. At Mudgee 8:08am.

The original longest day started just south of Coffs Harbour actually from memory. The cross Australia starts at Byron. The idea with the longest day now is I believe you ride the longest day, furtherest you can to Camerons. People start in VIC, QLD all over it’s an individuals own effort now.
