    the small problem iv got is i brought a new helmet in early dec. when i head a full head of hair, now its been warm and the work iv been doing, i had a good idea of cutn it off, the new helmet is a little loose just wondering if you guys had any ideas on what i can do to firm it up , or go get a smaller helmet [like not havn hair as it a lot cooler and alot easier to keep clean]

    Some bands of helmet have different thickness foam liners to suit all heads !!

    My Arai has a choice of 3 or 4 head and cheek pads in a range of thickness.

    Hope this helps ;)

    Or

    We did a ride in Noosa where a guy put a face washer on his head for a better fit !!! :D

    I had the same problem once , so I used to ware a beany under it,workrd well ;)

    NickJ has the best idea if you can get different pads.

    But as for the other ideas and the fact of having a big amount of hair to start with makes me worry after Marco Simoncelli r.i.p and even though i don’t think a full enquire has been done yet but i know there was lots of talk about a ill fitting helmet because of his hair.

    Just a thought thats all.

    You can buy thin foam about 6mm thick (larger or smaller if need be) from upholsterers. Pull out the liner and add however much foam you need… then pull it out as your hair grows!

    Buy a helmet that fits now champ, only got one head and maybe only one chance buy one that fits like it’s supposed to not like it’s modified to :huh: you can use the new one when your hairs short and the other when it’s long. A helmet is cheap when it saves your life

    His helmet didn`t fit real well and apparently fell off :laugh:

    Hence the headbanging on the floor :pinch:
