Like the title says, all you guys with little kids, cutting about on their mini bikes, savour every minute as it wont last forever.

It only seems like yesterday that, my son Connor, could only just reach the ground on his KX65, now he is making his YZ250F look small. I can’t believe how fast it happens.

Yep that would b a shock. If we knew no better from the photo he could be anywhere between 15 and 75… although I haven’t seen may 75 year olds pop monos lately…. but then again some of you blokes are getting on…. :D

At 14 he weighs 80kg and doesn’t look like stopping growing any time soon! What I would have done to have a brand new YZ250 at 14 years of age. I would have been happy with a pull start Techumsee powered Deckson Daredevil!

I know exactly where you are coming from Mick. ;)
I send Tim up anything that looks a bit scary before I attempt it nowdays.
Sometimes I don’t even follow him.
I hate too admitt it but he is now a better rider than me
Ill just bathe in the pride that I tought him.

I remember my cousin having one of those Deltek’s
We weren’t fortunate enough to own any motor bikes as kids
My first bike was a DT 175, bought it brand new and had to get a mate to ride it home as I didn’t know how.
    Cheers

  Mick it’s funny you say that. Today I was down the south coast riding with my 2 boys (Riley 13 and Connor 11). We were about 10km from home and Riley asked me if he could ride my 450 back so I said sure mate just be a little careful its a bit heavier and harder to stop than your KTM85SX blah…..blah…. He is a little taller than me  (not hard I know as I am only 12  ) Well he took off and I couldn’t catch the little ……… 👿 I was on his 85!! I thought I was going to bin it at any stage.  It was a great time eh ;) I think it is now time to move the 85 on and get him a 250
