For 2012 Honda has bought out a new Tourer/ Adventure bike called the Crosstourer and by the look it’s aimed to compete with BMW and Triumph as a cross continent Tourer.
Here’s a good review from UK Adventure Rider Mag who have actually tested one .

I’m hearing you Kram and agree 100% , Honda need a decent hardcore light Adv bike , the Crosstourer is a massive 275 kg
They could make a Honda Quinn just for you mate

February 21, 2012 at 12:44 pm #216658How many cc is it. I agree on the weight. I reckon the BMW 800 is on the limit weight wise for off road riding at 240 ish. I reckon it looks good just too heavy.

February 21, 2012 at 8:03 pm #216730i reckon it would make a great road bike dirt road bike would be good bike round dubbo for general transport.but mabynot an adventer bike
February 21, 2012 at 9:47 pm #216639Absolutely hideous, what is honda thinking?
As a touring bike that doesnt see the end of a tar road it is still hideous but could serve a purpose for some
275kg plus all your gear would be a nightmare to ride off road, i agree, when will honda make a fair dinkum ADV bike? if Honda kept some of there older models in production and with the R&D that they would have been doing over ther years on these models, they could have some briliant ADV and Touring bikes but instead they give us this thingPTW

Sorry mate just saying is all  I mean as the highly paid ADV guru / moderator thought it was funny you missed it given your normal high standard of work
Next time, although as hindsight is 20 20 vision it does look big for an 800 eh

Still looks shit loads different. The one in the link has a smoother looking fairing, spoked wheels and USD forks.
