We’re in. Bikes prepped. Magnesium tablets are packed. Can’t wait to hit the road. Looks like conditions will be good with rain this week and a couple of showers on the weekend. If you see a KTM 300 with Bike Territory stickers and the whips “bullbar” out front come over and say g’day. We’re camping Saturday and Sunday nights. Got to say I’m a bit nervous. Never ridden in a race for 6 hours before. Feel a bit underdone but it’s all I’ve got to work with so here goes nothing.

    See you there.

Mental note to self. Don’t catch up with Hatto until Sunday night after the race or the consequences could be dire.

Sounds good Hatto, will keep an eye out.

Good Luck Bundy. Hope you have a cracker.

Are you solo or partnering up??

Be careful of Hatto he will bring you undone :woohoo: But you’ll be pissing yourself laughing at the same time.

Don’t let him or paulie near your gerry can ;)

Look forward to hearing about your experiences after the race.

Thanks for the well wishes Kram. Don’t think I could do it solo. Going in the pairs with the bloke that owns Bike Territory (a local bike park). Hence the stickers on the bike. I think 6 hours of riding should be enough.

    Hatto,

Will we still be able to get to the track after the predicted 200mm of rain. Any creek crossings in the track that will become unpassable. I’m guessing the water comes up and goes down pretty fast down your way. Not looking like it will be dusty anyway.

Road in is dirt/hilly,(could be interesting in normal car) there is a causeway just before the venue which always has water 6-8 inches, this does come up quick but dave the property owner always says it goes down fairly quick. The track will have same creek 2 x crossings(potentially)shingle stones. Dave not living there at the moment so cant ring and ask how much rain, radar says 29mm moruya, we have had steady rain here since 3.30pm yesterday, not downpoors though. It is inland and dosen’t get same rain as coast but this rain looks like coming from inland

    cheers hatto

Hatto did you just use the transponder setup they give you last year and did it go okay or do you have some special way of carrying it to prevent it getting lost etc. I gather the one they give you has a bracket that zippy ties to the fork.

Got to say Hatto with the rain thats been falling and having ridden down there a few times I was waiting for it to be called. I actually checked at 6am this morning but their web site had nothing new. Imagine those creeks at the back of the property, they were a decent creek when we rode the 4 day
Dont let your leave pass expire mate, thats how last weekends ride at Wauchope started at the last minute ;)

    Enjoy
