Easy enough that I just ordered a set. I have been holding out regarding lights as we don’t ride in the dark, but there have now been two instances so I have invested

March 18, 2012 at 12:09 am #218359same, normally by time it’s dark i like to be settled, tent up and having a beer or rum in front of a fire, but better to be prepared, spesh as winter coning on and i’ll be riding to work in the dark ( well even darker).
wasn’t 100% sure as to how to assemble the connecter properly but i think i got it mostly right – lol.
those lights seem pretty solid mate, i dont think you regret the purchase, – the delivery was pretty quick also
and they will be going onto a tenere when i can afford one

April 1, 2012 at 8:32 pm #218346Nice,,,
I invested in some cheaper led`s to mount as an interim measure for this year. Will save the $$$ to update later.
Bought Chinese imports for now and will see if they last  (not expecting too much for the $$$)Might come in handy for the upcoming trip to the Birthday bash in June
AN early start for me is a certainty and a late finish on the Sunday is probably on the money too
Keep us informed on how they go Bender
April 1, 2012 at 9:06 pm #219162Is that a solar panel on the front guard?
April 2, 2012 at 12:27 am #219164Yeah Bundy i strapped it on last trip, knowing that i was riding into the afternoon sun, only put about 30% charge into the phone though, hence the 12v plug that i put into the dash.
I’m planning to be at the b’day bash so you can check them out there Eagle, and compare . been leaving them switched on when i’m heading into work, making sure that i’m seen – lol, and even took a detour through Lane Cove nat park early one morning and they definately light the road up far better than the normal headlight :cheer:cant wait to test in the bush proper
April 15, 2012 at 11:52 pm #218347My LED`s turned up today from China ,,, El Cheapo set for a test run before the trip to Sunny Corner.
Had to fabricate some brackets to mount them as the bar mounts supplied were cheap & nasty and I have no real room on the bars anyway :whistle:Still need a waterproof switch or bar mount light switch or might even wire them into my Highbeam ??? Undecided on that just yet ,,,,
They seem to be nice & bright in the shed, so a night run on the weekens might be in order to set the spot angles etcWill see about posting up some pics later on
April 16, 2012 at 12:24 am #218348pics here

front view (angles not set yet ,,,
Bright enough I think
