Well my little red work comuter is not happy
    Can anybody help?
It idles great and is fine up to about half revs
Then it just has nothing, tends to die
Have replaced the aftermarket carby with an original one (due to the float level always changing on the tracks coming into work)
It used to flood the carby and dump all the fuel on the ground
At least it doesn’t do that anymore but it is just too sad to ride the way it is
    Any ideas
    Cheers

    Thanks TB :)
Seems as though I posted in the wrong section.

Things that went wrong with some CT/XL/XR farm bikes I have had that may be similar to a postie,

-blocked drain/breather hoses on carby. They have similar symptoms and its usually those bloody little wasps that build nests up the hoses and block them up. Try blowing them out with an air compressor.

-blocked jets, same with any carb, remove and blow them out.

-another great one but un-related is the slide needle wears out and they won’t idle.

-possibly the coil as well. They can pack it in and give similar symptoms.
