I am planning on doing a bit of searching for tracks and hills and all that stuff we do and i am not keen on getting stuck out by myself so i am thinking one of these spot trackers might be the go? I am wondering if some has a link to a website with the info on what they do or if someone has one and can give me the “pros and cons” on them? From what i understand i can “checkin” every now and then and my wife could let someone know if i dont checkin within a certain time? Is this right?

As you know mate I do my fair share of solo riding and I will not leave home without mine. It is an incredible bit of kit that will make the difference if things go bad.

With your fuel range you can just walk back to the car in 10 minutes

Do it Nato! Touch wood I will never have to hit the SOS button , but it is great hitting the I am Ok button especially when you are riding and your mates who get the alerts are not. B)

    Got mine from Adv Moto.

Done it yet? What are you waiting for? No reason not to get one.

From what I’ve read about these things, the SOS is more often pushed for a fellow rider then the owner of the spot, either way they are a great thing.
