Just in @ rock motorcycles are the latest lithium ion batteries from anti gravity.
These things will save something like 2kg from your standard battery and fit right in place. Most enduro bikes have them in positions where losing that weight is worth it.
The model that suits most enduro bikes retails for $159.95 less ob discount you get them for $144.00 and we can freight them to your door (ask when you order as we may be able to cover it if you order a few bits and pieces)May 26, 2012 at 9:43 pm #222668Sounds like a good thing. How do they go on the Crf trickle chargers?

May 26, 2012 at 10:05 pm #22266910 points for a top question lol
I’m pretty sure you need to buy a special charger (been told around $65 n due v soon), also these are apparently the only Lith ions that are fully waterproof. We can also get shorai brand but they are not waterproof.May 26, 2012 at 10:09 pm #222677rockdog wrote:10 points for a top question lol

May 26, 2012 at 10:39 pm #222678There is only one I know of that can be used with a trickle charger Rory I think its called an Earth X or something cant remember of the top of my head. I have been doing a project of sorts on Lith batteries lately. And yes STM a Shorai isnt water proof
PS when you log in next if you struggle it could be because you are only STM

May 26, 2012 at 11:09 pm #222681I saw one at Rock’s during the week and I cant believe how light they are. I actually thought it was a fake one for display purposes!!

 Cutting the King`s Reign a few days short are we ???? 😆
Look back on the past year fondly King (I mean STM) it was a good year ….On the batery front, I am still running the stock 690 one, but I use my CTEK charger regularly to keep it in tip top shape,,, must be working so far
Have been thinking of what battery I will run if I need to upgrade, so looks like Lithium will be out unfortunately  Unless I buy another charger as well ???
Thanx for the info
May 26, 2012 at 11:37 pm #222688Just got one for my CRF450X. 8cell small. It’s so much lighter then the stock one and smaller + cranks the motor over a lot faster.
May 26, 2012 at 11:40 pm #222690You can use your charger on the Shorai batteries as long as it doesn’t have a desulfation mode, whatever the f@#k that is?
I checked my charger specs and it doesn’t seem to have one??????

Do they have the same punch as a normal battery? as CC/Amps and amp/hours

I can’t remember the exact specs but the model we are stocking is above the standard battery in cca and i think comparable in amp/hours. If you want to research it you can check their own website, just google anti gravity batteries.
I’ve sold a couple already and all good feedback, they actually crank em over a fair bit quicker than standard batteries. -
