Brocken Leg,,,Brocken hart.

Well i’m taping this out from hostpital,,,last wednesday I went for an avo ride out on my usual tracks,pland on doing about a 70 k loop,working on some ride fitness for the OBT B day ride.
Got about 30 k’s in and had a stupid moment ,slowing down to get around a tree blocking the main track I was on,some how droped the bike rite on my leg,doing about 15-20 klics.Snaped my shin bone inside my boot,like a carrot,,could not beleve it,I tryed to straiten it out ,thingking of riding out,but the break was obviouse.
Shit,,now i’m in trouble,,Got my helmet n glovs off then went for the camel back for the phone,,,made the 000 call and the serch was on.
Got my self as compfy as posible and they kept me on the line almost the whole time till the chopper arived.IT was starting to get a bit late in the avo so I was sure glad to see that copper.Because of the tree tops they couldn
t do a winch out,it had been about 2 hours by now.
The ambo’s managed to get a 4by in there to get me out and a couple of local blokes that the cops called in for local knolage were riders so one of em road the RMX out and is keeping it at his place till I can manage to go and get it,top blokes.
The ambo’s had a bit of fun in a creek crosing,,botoming the Pajero out a couple of times,but they got me out.
I’m going for surgery today to finaly get this bone mended with a metel rode they intend to shove in there.
So I wont be atending the 4th OBT B Day ride and I’m am sooo disapointed, I’v been so enjoying my riding I just cant beleve my luck.
