Ford Futura Wagon AUII 2000 model
I realised that my tow vehicle is worth less than my bike, actually its probably worth less than my boots and helmet so it has to go.
The most extreme, supreme and obscene machine in the known universe, able to cart bikes and camping gear to the far reaches of the galaxy (Neville, Bellingen etc) with ease, even know to travel over seas (Tasmania).
Immaculate blue and grey paint job, the grey is where the paint has faded and where the front and rear bumpers are scratched. :whistle:
Low kays compared to an interstate truck or taxi (360,000)
Starts first kick, never dropped, only raced on the way home from work :woohoo:
Serioulsy this has been a great car and will continue to be a great car, I have owned it for close to 10 years and it has never left me stranded on the side of the road.
Strong engine, transmission and diff
Engine doesn’t use any oil, trannie recently serviced (2 months ago)
Good brakes
New alternator, front wheel bearings, upper and lower ball joints
Needs 2 tyres and a wheel alignment
Slight power steering leak (coming from the hose not the rack)
Loses a bit of water from somewhere
Rego until September but doesn’t need a pink slip until March (I pay 6 months at a time)
All power options work except for the remote central lockingSelling cheap to an Old Bull or an acquaintance of an Old Bull
