    Didn’t want to hijack another thread so started a new one ….

    In the other thread “Learning to MX again …” huskybloke (thanks again) outilned for me the Day Licence, Seniors Licence options etc to go racing at HVMCC.

    Do they have practice/open ride days?

    Also, any other good MX/SuperX tracks around the area whether club or private?

    Love a good bush bash, but love a good track bash as well!

    :ohmy: (realisation) Oh god, I’m going to buy a MX bike too soon aren’t I ?! Crap, someone stop me shopping!!!

    Have a go at one of there Pony Expresses too, not really MX but they are well run and it’s a tough little track. You can do it as team or by yourself (Ironman). It might be an easier way to egde back into racing :)

    i agree with moto im doing northern inland pony express an there mx series as well if you google the clubs and have a look at the MNSW site you will soon see theres plenty of track and pony expresses that can wet your apetite , and you dont have to be a gun im hopeless but man am i having fun

    all fixed mate. Common occurance. ;)

    THe HVMCC do have practice days, I think there is one scheduled for this Sunday, weather permitting.

    They only have a few practice days a year though and they dont just do “open days.”

    As for private tracks, there are a few about but they aren’t in the league of the HVMCC. KTMBull has one at Rollands Plains that we go and play on from time to time.

    Thanks Mick for coming to my rescue again … here’s hoping that doesn’t happen (too) often out on the trails! :)
