We were going to go and ride Barrington but after the recent rain we decided to stay local.
Megs ( mega530 ) is always keen and a text to Steve ( Wrsteve ) had him chomping at the bit, and Scott ( efto ) had been off the bike for 6 months or more.
The weather was perfect and the ground was slippery and it wasn’t long after we left my place that we were having a ball and we all got stuck into it :woohoo:
We dropped into a single that we haven’t done in a while and we knew it might be a bit tricky but didn’t think it would be a problem  Turns out it wasn’t that bad and the two orange bikes got up just fine.

The two blue ones had some trouble

Me being the good mate that I am I jumped in the give a hand

The hill was bloody slippery and hard to even stand.
Efto did the ghost ride and smashed his new plastics.

As you can see, I’m in there helping again.

    Here I am helping again.

This hill got the better of us and we turned around and head back, Megs kept going up as the the mighty 500 just didn’t want to stop, and we were to meet up with Megs at the other end.
I had to walk back up the bloody hill to get my bike so I could take the bloody blue bikes back the other way.

And the other way wasn’t a walk in the park either

Efto tries a line but doesn’t get it

    Steve chose a different line

Efto is looking for my bike but it’s at the top of the hill

    Steve used brute force

We caught up with Megs and headed for lunch, but the last trail before lunch gave me another chance to help the guy on the blue one out

This is guy has got it going on, you have to get it on the back wheel to get the pegs nice and clear, then you have to some how hang your knees on your ears to keep your feet clear

We had some lunch and then headed for more, the rest of the day flowed fast until we hit a nice bog hole, where nothing happened, nothing happened at all, not one thing.

We all made it back before dark with plenty of smiles and laughs had.
Thanks guys for a top day.

    I love riding

Great report Pete, that Rutt looks like a condender for the title of Rutzilla!!

Obviously there must have only been one camera on the ride, other wise me might get to see a Kato having some strife in a boghole?

    wow…nice rut Pete

the only reason why the 2 katos got up the hill was that the 2 yammys slammed into the back of them (as they would have been broken down in the middle of the track) and shunted them up the hill ;) ….it’s the only possibility ;)

    Nice ride report Pete :cheer:

    Bol :woohoo:

Iv got to agree with King Bol, it’ s just so unusual not to see the Yams at the top of hills :woohoo: something like a Kato stuck in a rut holding up the other bikes sounds like a recurring theme 😆 I had the same problem at the weekend

However it was a real good report Pete

    My memory must be going,

I thought the we’d made several runs back up and down. Oh we did just not to the top each time.

Bloody good day out, very slippery and a bloke on a Kato who seemed to stop on the start of a Hill when
we started to get on a roll, funny blokes those Orange 2 banging wierdos
