    The site will be off line week after next either Tuesday or Wednesday. Chris will be backing the site up from about 3pm. That evening Chris will update the site to the latest template and at this time the site will under go the biggest facelift we have has since we started in 2008. Chris has been working on the facelift for sometime.  I will be helping with some design input and passing beers that’s my limit.

    I will update this thread with the exact day when it’s decided (when we both have the same free night)

    The next lot of upgrades will fix the bug with have with the latest post column on the left that makes the site look dead.  Tapatalk will also be reloaded as well as some other bugs in this template you may or may not have noticed.

    will the column on the left stay so it just has one spot for each thread ie if there are three posts on one thread it just shows up once and when you click on it you see all the posts i like it like that just my opionion easyer to use ?

    Yes rocket but will be better, it really depends on how many rums tb brings, if it is that rum and lime crap then it will all go to shit however if it is rum and coke then it will end up awesome.
    I think a saturday night would be best as I won’t need to work next day :laugh: :laugh:

    Perform full backup (it is currently taking 2.5 hours) Update Joomla from 1.5.26 to 2.5 it is not a simple upgrade but a migration, Install and test new template, recover data bases and structures, have a rum, and another, test to make sure all o.k, ask TB if it is all o.k, ring delta, ring chris brown and finallly shoot nail gun through my finger. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    Yeah Chris it will be rum and cokes for you ol mate ;) I will drink the lime crap :laugh: Week nights add excitement :P

    Please note the site will go off-line tomorrow afternoon at around 3pm for around 12 hrs while we do an upgrade (Chris does I help by opening beers and answer if it’s ok :laugh: ) read the thread for more details. You have been warned
