So I’ve well and truly recovered from last weekend, cleaned the gear, cleaned the bike and I start looking for the “next” ride.
Love to get some track work in and see how the Berg (and me) handle the jumps etc so I go looking to see what’s coming up at HVMCC ….. SHUT DOWN!! WTF!!! I just move here and it’s shut down!
Thinking back to last weekend I remember Moose and Mick chatting about “asbestos” and “council” etc … now I know what they where talking about! Crap, crap, crap, I wanted to go MX’ing and as far as I know that was it! No other tracks for miles.

It has been a tough year this year for Moose and the team up there I think,,,
It is a great racetrack and I have seen the effort they put in first hand when I visited for a day (am still keen to go back & help out one day too) :whistle:Hopefully there can be a resolution to the drama shortly to enable the racing to continue

Good Luck to all affected
October 14, 2012 at 8:59 am #230722Yeah, exactly … from the reading I’ve done it seems they’ve had rain, rain, rain, asbestos, rain, rain, asbestos!
Tough year for sure … all that hard work they must put in.
I was looking to see upcoming events and working bees etc, thought it might be a good way to meet some locals and hopefully have a bash …. hopefully it all works out for them.
October 14, 2012 at 10:46 am #230721Some of the best locals to meet up there mate
It is a real family atmosphere on racedays too !!!just watch out for TOES  He is a bit of a practical joker

Hopefully all will get sorted and the crew can get back into it soon,,,,
October 14, 2012 at 10:49 am #230724It sure is a pain but there is not much that can be done till all the tests are done and council are happy there is no danger to the club members

But you could come out here next week end for a ride on my mx track

not as good but its somethingOctober 14, 2012 at 10:55 am #230757EAGLE`02 wrote:Some of the best locals to meet up there mate

Already had the pleasure of meeting Toes … let’s just say that I’ll never be letting him make me a sandwich

Noticed your doing Saturday and Sunday, I can probably only do Saturday if that’s OK? I’ll just drive down and back from Kempsey (I’m guessing it’s not far??).
October 14, 2012 at 12:07 pm #230761Fingers crossed it all gets cleared up sooner rather then later, There is a pretty good flat track scene around the area too Razzle, with oil circuits at Old Bar (near Taree) and Kempsey, so much so I’ll probably invest in some motard wheels for the CRF until the mx track gets the all clear..
If your really keen I can take you out with the KTM to explore some nice technical stuff
October 14, 2012 at 9:07 pm #230762Sure Razzle see you saturday pm me if you need directions
