Bob, Green450, Shitty and me made our race debut on Sunday in an 8hr pony express at Nowra.
The Roosters were Bob and LC
The Fatty Owls were Green450 and ShittyThe course was long (about 25kms) and rough with plenty of rocks and sandy whoops, mostly 2nd and 3rd gear. The weather was perfect with rain in the few days leading up to the race and nice and sunny with no dust on the day.
Bob and I flipped a coin to see who started the race, Bob won or lost which ever way you look at it. Green450 was doing the start of Fatty Owls race. Both got pretty good starts but the jumps on the motocross track sorted them out.
Bob put in an awesome first lap in the slippery still wet conditions coming back in about 10th outright (we think he inadvertently cheated when a few riders got lost but we will take it :cheer: )
I got lost on my first lap and wasted about 5 mins going back and forth with a few other riders looking for the arrows. Plus I binned it about 5 times  (can’t go very fast when you are laying on the ground)
The Fatty Owls were struggling a bit on the first lap and probably the second (Shitty hates rocks)
Ended up with Bob doing 5 laps and me doing 4.
Green and Shitty only did 4 each.Best laps
Shitty 58mins
Green 57mins
Bob 54mins (cheat lap) 56mins (full lap)
LC4skin 52minsSemi Pro riders 44 – 45 mins
Rooster came 20th outright and Fatty Owls 27th, anyway we smashed them by a lap
50 or so teams in the race plus about 10 nutjobs doing ironman

Yep, now that we know that we are not useless and can match it with some pretty good riders. Just got to wait for some more events.
