They look pretty good. They are very well priced comapred to Barkbuster EGO and they come with a dual mount kit for both newer style fatbars and old school 7/8th’s.

Fitment is dead easy and there is even instructions in case you suffer from multiple subdural haematoma ‘s and can’t figure it out without them. They even look good on the bike, what more can you ask for?

Well, I would ask that they don’t bend every time I bin the bike. They bend so easily they quickly start to interfere with lever operation (even bent one of my bling anodized blue levers! ). Whats even worse is that where they join the end of the bar the aluminium doesn’t sit flush and you can feel it on the inside of the palm of your hand.

In short, buying these won’t save you any money at all because, like me, after a few months of use you’ll be buying Barkbusters anyway. I’ve had 2 previosu sets of proper barkies and they have taken a pounding. They have deformed but nowhwere near as bad as the Acerbis ones and this has only been under some pretty big impacts.

As far as Barkbusters are concerend you certainly get what you pay for, buying cheap will mean buying twice.

    That’s all B)

I tried a set on the Tenere and found they were made of butter  Barkbusters all the way like Moto said you get what you pay for ;) The biketiques are nicely finished but looks isnt everything ;) (did I say that  )
Chris had a set for a while and ditched them pretty quickly not sure why

Maybe just the angle of the dangle  the Tenere only fell on its side stopped up a bank near Wiseman’s Ferry finishing the High Country ride. Crash’s plastics faded also now you mention it

Ask Ev, he is Old Bulls resident Barkbuster crash test pilot. :cheer: Think he even gets the alloy bit from the wreckers because he goes through so many of them

I like Barkbusters but I always seem to strip the allen key bolt out on the end of the handlebars, trying to get them tight enough that they don’t move when I crash.
