Finding rocking horse s^#t is way easier than finding the Crf ADR wiring diagram. The bike comes with 2 wiring looms but no diagrams ( well mine didn’t !) and this is the best I could find.

If anyone has better please add to this thread as it will help a fellow rider when their loom rubs through and shorts out like mine :pinch:

If your later models are anything like Sam’s 06 model then it’s overly complicated.

If yours has the small ignition relay be aware the contacts can stick, and if it gets a bad earth, or they stick open you can’t start the bike.

An on the trail fix was to simply unplug it.

Thanks for that tip Adam :)

I agree it seems like their are switch wires run the full length of the bike for no obvious reason and whoever installed my loom had no forethought of it rubbing on the frame. Even the rear brake light switchwires were run under the battery.

After finding wires rubbed bare , blowing main fuses and losing charge to my battery I decided today to rip the whole loom out and start again.

The ADR harness is fitted here in OZ and is only meant to get the bike registered. None of the loom plugs or relays are waterproof. My suggestion is pull it off and go back to how the bike was made, headlight and taillight only.
If you must have blinkers/horn/dash I’ll get a better diagram from Honda MPE when they are back at work early Jan.

I ended up pulling out the whole ADR loom Nick and putting the Enduro loom in , I’ve had no problems since :)

It would be a good reference to have the clearer Honda diagram here too though B)

You have just discovered the best answer. Bike is 100% reliable with the stock minimalist harness. I’ll chase my friend at MPE up in the new year for reference.
