We do have occasional weekends at places like Louee (bike park near Mudgee) but not regularly. We have some members that do enduro racing. A crew up at Port Macquarie Wauchope area that ride at Hastings Valley MCC (racing is suspended at the moment though due to track dramas) :pinch:
Others down Lithgow, Sunny Corner way, Oyster Bay MC
November 18, 2012 at 7:05 am #232604Hey alex do an intro like were you ride live and get a rego.d bike and do some great riding with us.
November 18, 2012 at 7:59 am #232618You could try the Denman Pony Express series next year. Its good fun and casual.
November 18, 2012 at 9:34 am #232615thats no drama, i will eventually get a trail bike so i can join you guys!!
but in the mean time im keen to get involved in some enduro racing, how could i go about getting involved with some of these events??November 18, 2012 at 11:19 pm #232627I’d start by contacting one of the above mentioned clubs, becoming a member, getting your MA license and then you’re free to race any event that doesn’t require rego (some do).
November 19, 2012 at 2:35 am #232655Bad time of the year to take up racing, nothing much happens now until Feb or March next year.
November 19, 2012 at 4:04 am #232662Google barleigh ranch. It is a track just outside of Raymond terrace. They have public ride days and you are bound to meet people that can point you in the right direction. Denman motorcycle club also have a website and Facebook page you can look in to.
Huskeybloke on here also rides up at singleton and may be able to help as well if he finds this thread.
Hop this helps
November 19, 2012 at 11:09 am #232665thanks heaps will have a look at some of these and ill keep posted when you guys are putting events on
November 19, 2012 at 10:11 pm #232710G’day Alex
The Hastings Valley Motocycle Club Runs enduro events like Pony X and Sprints. There is six rounds throughout the year. As Eags has mentioned we have had some track issues this year but should be on track for next season. Google the website for race dates in the New Year.
As mentioned the Denman series is also good and there is the Northern Inland Pony X series each year as well. That is also an excellent series and lots of fun. Google both for race dates.
If you want to get into some racing there is lots around to keep you interested.
Hope to see you at the HVMCC

just one more thing how do i get an MA license or do you just pay for a day license?November 20, 2012 at 10:16 am #232725hi Alex mate you can do a day license like a try before you buy thing. Best advice I can give is to join a club which is really cheap for the benefits that you will get. Join a club located near where you live. I can recommend several in the Hunter area: Dungog , Cessnock, maitland, Kurri Kurri, central coast dirt riders, Denman to name a few. Hastings is an awsome club and some of our members are heavily involved with it.
Best of Luck
PS top bike the RM for closed course Enduro 👿

November 20, 2012 at 10:21 am #232605getting a MA licence im pretty sure you can do it on the day from memory, if your going to do the entire series your better off getting a 1 year licence !
as noted above about the northern in land series, i done the upper horton 4 hour and was a brilliant track, sure i ate about a ton of dust but it makes you ride harder to get round the bloke in front ! will be doing the entire series next year, they have a website for the series
http://www.nipes.com.au/www.nipes.com.au/Home.html
will have to look at doing the series on the other side of the range too !
