We are just back from some pre ride work and after some careful consideration we are changing a couple of things in the format to try and keep everyone happy. In the past we have had tracks that 90 % of riders could complete on a big bike( 800-1000cc). I have been receiving feedback that a lot of riders on 250-700 cc machines would like the track to be more technical .
We are now designing a course that includes technical sections which anyone with limited ability or they are on a big bike and only have average ability should stay out off.
To complete the course and get the APC finishing medallion you will have to complete these technical sections. When designing the course we will put a semi technical section before a harder section so people will be able to gauge their skill level before going into the tougher stuff.
If it rains no one should go in the tougher stuff with a big bike. If riders enter the tougher stuff it will be their decision.
As a rally organiser I am learning that we cant make everyone happy. But I do know that people want a challenge and we can provide it we just want to do it in a safe manner .
