As another year draws to a close I thought it fitting that we should look back and share our favourite moments of 2012.
For me, this is right up there!!

December 13, 2012 at 8:04 pm #233706I would be hard to pinpoint the best OBT moment for me in 2012 as several come to mind.
In no particular order they would be:
The weekend everyone lobbed at my place and went grass tracking at Moose’s place was a beauty.
I had to change the liner in my pool afterwards!
The shed party and film night afterwards was a top evening. Laugh! Didn’t we what!
Then there was the Scrapheap Adventure Ride, not only did it turn out to be a challenge it was great fun and I got to see PTW jump a postie further than any sane person would.
The weekend at Hotel Paradiso was a beauty too.
State of Origin with Gittoes and Tripper was a night to remember.
WE had a big weekend up at KTMBULL’s place that rates a mention too.
Plenty more great moments were had but they were a few of the stand outs, thanks to all the guys I have ridden with and shared a fizzy drink with in 2012.
December 13, 2012 at 10:01 pm #2337122012 over 35k, over 350hrs so many rides, so many laughs, so many mates, so many memories, so many hrs spent driving, fixing, riding, drinking, laughing and now reminiscing
Was going to say sorry there are so many pictures but I am lucky I get to do so much riding so here is part 1 and I am not sorry for the long post
Hattah what an epic trip to use Dejay’s words

Hooters with the King
TK Ride, wow bloody ripper with PTW, Strucky, Ace, Chris, Boulder, Fish, Pebbles, Fish Finger
Rose in the thorns here
What about the two day ride with Dejay, when I said he needed to cool off I didn’t mean like
What about the APC first day with the girls and riding up Eagle’s hill of doom by mistake. This hill later claimed the three leading APC 990’s, but the Tenere got up (very ugly but up in one go without stopping!) If you know the hill you know why I included the photo
The Scrapheap ride which I mapped and lead on behalf of OBT, supported by OBT supplying super sweeps, Boulder, Kram and pickup drivers Dejay, Lauren and Clare
Unselfish helpful super sweeps
Engine rebuilds, built wheels, not shed time (don’t have a shed, just time I enjoy it quiet time for me) touch wood none mine
Grass Tracking @ Moose’s and the great corner cutting controversy Was one the best days riding I have ever done up there, the morning tracks in and around Bago where wicked and then the grass tracking!
Lot of time spent traveling to all different rides all over the eastern seaboard this year and rode lots of different bikes
Product testing
Sat around and drank some at times and hung out with awesome people, great friends
Saw some amazing sites and places
Some not so amazing
APC rally pre run, wow fast and hard on tyres and riders, did I mention fast and off road.
Another build for Steve, borrowed for the APC pre run rode a lot of Steve’s bikes, WR250R, King Kenny 1200 Tenere, 750 Tenere, 660 Tenere, WR450 2012, KTM 530, XR650R
CAPE YORK what an adventure
More later, there is so much ridden and done this year (Coffs, High Country, Dejays knock out ride, to name a few)
What about the amazing people

I have done sweet FA riding this year due to a back injury that ended with surgery.
I hope 2013 is better and sees me up north riding and meeting more old bulls.
