Merv and I had some work in Orange, and as with all our away trips the bikes came along ;)

Where to ride in Orange  ask Wolfie ;)

Wolfie lives on 3000 odd acres and was looking for some buddies (read guinea pigs) to help explore B)

We arrived at Wolfie’s around 10am kitted up and headed out. It was pretty warm and Wolfie had us in pine singles 300m from his house, how cool is that :woohoo:

We then proceeded to ride through paddocks, gullies, up hills and down hills just poking around until Merv jarred his back on a steep down hill :(

I rode his bike through the difficult bits and we took him back to the house to rest up whilst Wolfie and I explored a track down to the river :) He was hoping to ride down the track and up a ridge further up the river B)

What he didn’t know was this was a grade 4 – 5 ridge

We picked our way up the ridge not knowing which path to take, what started out as a good line soon ended in a pile of rocks, or a heap of fallen trees. We’d traverse across in search of another line up and slowly (and I mean slowly) made our way up. Some sections took a couple of attempts or a helping push.

We needed several rest breaks as it was hot, walking up the hill looking for lines was hard, and we couldn’t get Wolfie too excited (he was champing at the bit to tackle this hill :P ), and pushing and shoving to stop Wolfie’s bike sliding back down the hill was not easy

Finally we found the top and the main track which also leads down to the river further along :woohoo:

We rode it to the river and went in for a dip to get our body temperatures back down from boiling point

After our 10 minute soak we headed back to the house via a very rock strewn track and Wolfie showed me the spot where he was taken out by a large grey roo  he was lucky not to be seriously injured to say the least :pinch:

A few welcome cool drinks from our host whilst we loaded up and we were on our way back home at about 6pm.

Turned out to be quite a ride for a cruise around his property

Thanks Wolfie and we’ll be back when we’re up there to finish of the job in Orange :woohoo:

Got some vids to post later.

Sounds like you three had an adventure. I hope you marked the trail for the next group to go through!

The river sounded like it was a welcomed dip.

    How much has Wolfie improved!

Looking forward to some beaut pics and vids.

jeffro -adam and iv allready spoke about that while he was out ere and im thinking once it cools down i will org something like that with a bonfire and org a spit dinner but in the mean time if anybody out this way they can come for a run and ill keep working out differant routes till then , and maybe some of the local farmers will give me permission aswell , but what i am working on atm is puting some sort of ramps that goes over the fences to save opening gates but so stock cant cross over
