    100% spare parts in stock!
Don’t worry James, Im sure TB would go for the one with 1km on it as opposed to your 10 000km

Risky Business leaving a ten there this week mate

I spoke to TB about his the other night and the lengths they have gone to to get the required part that is holding them up is pretty big ,, but they are the two guys that would be able to pull it off :)

Good choice getting Nick to give your ride the Teknik Treatment, she will be a diferent machine on her return ;)

It would be a tragedy if a 1km old Tenere had a broken 3rd gear, must have been a fault at the factory. Warranty.
Where are my nylon faced tools, the ones that don’t mark bolt heads…..

Hey everyone :cheer: With my bike being seen too by Nick at the moment,it got me thinking I had better do something about my riding technique, as to not let my inability overshadow what from all reports, should be a great improvement over the stock setup.

I have had conversations with people about getting some help at one of these riding schools/courses but cant remember who they recommended.

So I am wondering if any of you guys have any info on who to go and see, cost etc.

Preferably somebody based around the northwest of Sydney to save me the travel.

    Cheers James

Picked my bike up from Teknics this arvo and once I got home I took her out for a quick ride, just went through Galston Gorge and came back through Pennant Hills to home. For those that dont know, the Gorge, as the name suggests is a road which has plenty of twists and turns and can be quite fun without too much traffic.

I just cant believe the difference in the bike  Its gone from being this saggy, spongey, heavy feeling bike into a much better, lighter feeling machine.

Much better control and faster into corners, and even exiting the corner, when accelerating it feels much faster.I am actually quite amazed at the difference.

, So I guess you could say I am extremely pleased with the result :woohoo: On that note I would just like to thank Tekniks,Nick and particularly Blake whom I am pretty sure carried out the work on my bike thanks heaps.

Unfortunately It was too late to get out on some dirt but If today was anything to go by I cant wait til I get the chance 👿

Yeah the difference is amazing eh. I am going to Orange tomorrow now for a few days as my pop passed away the other day and have been lucky enough to be loaned a new Tenere for the ride. As much as I appreciate the use of a new bike standard suspension sux! It’s great your happy with it as it is a big financial commitment, sell it to the bride as a safety must do! was talking with Nick about your bike I think Blake pulled it and refitted Nick helped with the magic.
Will do the last bit of pre run tomorrow on the way up.

Keep riding it James and telling us how it’s going, always welcome feedback.
Blake and I did it, joint effort. He’s coming along as a tech, pity I’m losing him for 6 months when he works for a team in the US but he’ll be all the better for the experience.

Sorry to hear of your loss TB.

Standard suspension sure does suck by comparison, cant believe manufactures let them out the door in that condition.I would have thought they would want their product to be the best it could possibly be
I know there is the cost factor, but the cost/performance ratio is so heavily weighted in favour of better performance after Teknics mod, price doesnt really come into it.
As far as safety goes not so sure  will be going a lot faster now :woohoo: Have a safe trip.

, Team effort hey Nick, sorry heres me giving Blake all the credit  He does seem switched on and keen, and an opportunity like he has got can only benefit you both down the track.Once again thanks heaps.

Well I got the opportunity to take the bike up through Wisemans,St Albans and on to Bucketty this arvo, after a short but hot and sweaty day at work today.

Normally after such a day at work with the heat and all I would not bother going so far but I was stinging to see how the bike went on the dirt roads.

After getting home and having a shower to clean up and cool down the thought of putting all the bike gear on was not very appealing to say the least.

Once I got going though, the heat of the day was forgotten and I just enjoyed the ride up along old nth rd.In the long sweeping corners I am now able to pick the line I want and hold it throughout the whole bend whereas before I would find myself correcting my line within the bend. The front wheel would wonder around a bit.

When the road did turn to dirt the bike felt a lot more secure underneath me, which in turn probably did have me travelling quicker than normal, had a few lockups coming into corners that dont usually give me such a surprise.
But the most pleasing aspect about the new suspension for me was the way it handled the corrigations on the tight slower corners.Normally if I was going around say a left hand corner the bike would skip over the bumps and end up a metre to the right of where I had pointed it,not any more ;)
