It`s been a few weeks since the bike had seen any dirt, so I rose real early this morning,5am, and slabbed it to the back of Cessnock.
Climbed up to the top of Mount View in the early light to see a couple of Hot Air Balloons floating over the vineyards (no pics cause they didn`t come out too well on the phone and the balloons aren`t visible)
Wound my way up & down, dodging wallabies & rabbits everywhere to the back of Millfield before again slabbing it to Wollombi.
Tavern was nowhere near ready to open :laugh: so wound around the back on Yango Creek Rd thru the mist to Laguna and back across the Watagans again.
Watagan Creek Rd is never one to dissapoint for a ride and this morning was quite cool until I started the climb up the mountains.
Uneventful run back across the ridge to Mt Falk and thru the Mountain Bike Park to Beck road and home from Freemans…Covered 180k and home before 9am for brekky , good way to squeeze in a ride & beat the heat :laugh:
There’s some nice country up there Eagle.
Lotsa’s recent ride up that way was a first for me in that area and I thoroughly enjoyed it. :cheer:
It’s always good to go for a ride :woohoo:
