No wrong Eagle like Nick said twin discs, besides Lefty is smarter than a 690  and to small for a 950 or 990

Yeah not so sure about them Nick :( but it has to be better than a T63 front. I will bring it down after my initial ride as it was sprung for a 120kg rider and I am only 70kg with a chubby. 😆
    Cheers,

Not a bad pattern the biggest problem is the profile is low from memory 90/90 easy to dent rims and get pinch flats from what I have seen and felt :pinch:

My plan is to be there Eags for sure, however I just need to chek a few dates as the kids have a few things on in Feb, Rep touch footy comp, but I really want to be there. We will see. Looks like I will be camping though. ;)

It rides well Eags and has alot of fruit on it ready for some big up coming adventures.
After doing the longest day ride, I want to do more of this type of riding and seeing more of the Aussie outback and what a great way to do it! On an Adv bike!! B)

Lefty, a T63 front is not a tyre. It’s a strip of black rubber that stops the rim from hitting the ground.
I used to sell Michelins and bought a front as I’d tried the rear and thought it would be more of the same. No dice. It’s a POS.
The Desert fronts always seemed really skaty on anything but sand. The Baja was a much better all round tyre. Could be that the Deserts are designed for mouse tubes and the Baha is not, hence the massive Baja sidewalls.

Funny you mention that about the Baja Nick, there is one on the front of my Tenere in your workshop and I love it. It was a second hand one to start with and has hardly worn. The side wall is awesome, thick feeling yet seems flexible. The bead folds back up over the rim to protect it. I’m sure I have spoken with Lefty about them. I reckon a group buy should be sort, I will take 2 ;)

My choice now days is Baja from T63 rear, Michelin all round
