We live in the best country on earth and this weekend is a great chance to celebrate it. I have stepped foot on every continent bar Antarctica and I am proud to call Australia home. In reality it is only as good as you make it and there are many great places to live, but I am Aussie and I appreciate what we have.
Tomorrow I get to ride my bike and Saturday morning I get to go surfing, all within a stones throw from my front door.
The rain is falling lightly to buff the trails and the surf is on the rise.
Australians all let us rejoice!!

Your right Snowy , I have been here more of my adult life than the uk so it’s got to tell you something!
My Australia day consists of riding MX tonight with STM , Saturday morning surf then racing Billy Carts at the annual Maclean event with Spud. Sunday is off to Bangalow markets with the wife and kids and Monday BBQ and beers
Doesn’t get better than that :woohoo:

Sunday ride Monday recover….
I’m currently in the UK for the first time in 11years and have been here just over a week, the first day here I went to bed and woke up to find 5″ of snow had fallen over night and so far the temp has’nt risen above 2c
it’s f!@£$ng freezing :sick: :sick: , so to all you lucky buggers who are able to enjoy the Australia day long weekend good onya I won’t be thinking of you going riding/surfing Scott (not much!!!) or having a beer in the sun with the family because I will be hugging a radiator trying to keep warm and stop my feet from feeling cold :huh:

F@#K Australia Day, I was at work all arvo/night putting up with drunk 15 and 16 year old bogans on train stations trying to start fights and yelling out Straya Day at the top of their lungs (half of them were wogs 👿 )
It made me jealous that I wasn’t on the piss.
