It is that time of the year again!!!!

Old Bull Trailriders is celebrating its 5th Birthday!!

And what better way to celebrate than to have a get together for an epic weekend of riding and camaraderie! This year our birthday Party will be held on July 5th, 6th and 7th

This year’s party is going to be the best yet, with a fantastic riding location with excellent camping facilities secured! A 7000 acre private property on the mid north coast of NSW (west of Wauchope) will be the location. Actually we (OBT) will have the place to ourselves.

Mt Seaview, is well known to many of us as a prime spot for a weekend away on the bikes, as they hosted a round of the AORC in 2010, so you can be assured that there is some good riding to be had in them there hills!

Friday Afternoon is for you to explore, catch up or just get there. Saturday we are proposing that there will be a Poker run style event held, a hill climb with a twist that everybody can do, as well as a few other bike related events like slow races etc. Saturday an adventure ride will be had in some of the best country to be had in the area including Werrekimbe National park, The Oxley Highway and the Cells River state conservation area on the door step.

Saturday night will see the auction to raise money to keep OBT running for the next 12 months. A new King will be named prizes handed out and other festive things.

Sunday will most likely see riders left to their own devices as to whether they want to ride or not, the property is there to explore, there is a basic MX track or you can use the opportunity to have a quick run in the Cells, which is about 30kms up the road.

As this event is being held on private property, any Old Bulls who have a son or daughter over 16 who are capable trail riders and would like to join in on the fun would be welcome to bring them along for a ride. (Exception of the Cells and off the property if they are un registered)

As stated above, there are excellent facilities available ranging from basic camping in the campground, a 40-bed dorm and cabins. Camping is $40/person for the weekend including use of the BBQs and camp kitchen etc. $50 will see you in the dorm with use of the facilities. To book your accommodation ring Ralf on 02 6587 7188. You need to book your camping or bunkhouse accommodation through Mt Seaview. Remember it will be cold up there and the bunkhouse will fill fast.

With the world going the way it is, with litigation and the sorts, we have had to enlist the help of Hastings Valley Motorcycle Club and MCNSW in order to insure our Birthday Ride in July, should someone decide to sue OBT or the land owners at Seaview.

Not that we expect someone would consider it but by doing this, we ensure that everyone is covered in the event of an unforeseen mishap.

Unfortunately this coverage comes at a cost, a cost that will need to be covered by the participants who wish to ride on the property.

sign on will be on Friday 4 to 6pm and again Saturday morning 7 to 9am and will looked after by Micknmeld and myself. If you can’t sign on between those time PM me or Micknmeld

Don’t freak out, as the cost is minimal in the scheme of things!! The cost will be $30.00 per rider for the whole weekend. This cost involves a nominal $5.00 weekend membership to The HVMCC and a $25.00 MCNSW weekend recreational licence plus a $20 rider’s levee.
Those people with a current national MCNSW licence (will need to be produced when signing in NO EXCEPTIONS) will be exempt from the Day Licence fee and those who are already HVMCC members need not pay the day membership (will need to be produced when signing in NO EXCEPTIONS) .
Those arriving on Adventure bikes would also not have to worry about paying the licence or membership fee, if they are only using the camp ground.

Upon payment and issue of a receipt, you will get a sticker for your bike, no sticker, no access to the trails in other words no sticker NO RIDING!. If you think the cost is unreasonable, it would be best that you stayed at home, as we feel that it is a small price to pay considering how much a weekend at Louee or the likes would cost you.

We appreciate your understanding on this matter and it is a pity that the world has come to this.

I am going to have to miss this one me thinks. I am moving to Indonesia for work for the next 2 years in the next month or so. I had to give up the ride whore name and may have to give up the bike whore title as well.

Would have loved to have a play at Mt Seaview. I will have to resign myself to living though the pics and vids of others.

    Count me in!!!

Accomodation for the GIRLS!!!

I just got off the phone with the Mt Seaview people and sorted out some accomodation. I discussed that there might be a few girls going and if it was possible to have an area for us (No offence guys but…..im sure you all understand).

They have kindly penciled in one of the small bunk houses for us IF there are a few of us (girls that is) that would like to have our own area. When you call, just let them know that you would like to be in the girls bunkhouse and it can be sorted. B)

I checked about the resort accomodation option, but its 3km away from the camping area. :pinch:
