This is not an organised ride, it’s a map sharing exercise that is free. I am going on another two day navigation ride this one a little over 800km starting in Lithgow west of Sydney and finishing in Lithgow. Navigation means it’s a full GPS ride, yes if you want to come must have your own GPS. You need a GPS because there is no cornerman, no sweeps etc. The route can be loaded on your GPS at the Commercial Hotel Motel, 198 Main Street Lithgow. GPS’s will only be loaded Friday night the 21st June (no GPSs will be loaded Saturday morning I will be long gone) the route I believe will be suitable for all bikes if ridden to the conditions but that’s your choice when you get to all if any obstacles. This is not an organised ride, it’s a map sharing exercise same as getting a map from the NRMA or whoever you can follow it if you want, that’s your choice when you get to all if any obstacles. The route I am planning to ride has plenty to see, and will be a cracker if you choose to follow it like a map.
This ride will have an overnight stay at a TBA location (Somewhere in the Central west of NSW) well that’s where I am staying. I reckon camping gear is a must should you for whatever reason not make the overnight stay or continue past it on day one.

Like the last Nav ride the accommodation point where Pete the Wulf, Amy, Strucky, Wolfman and myself are booked is also where we are staying that is the Commercial Hotel Motel Lithgow, 198 Main Street Lithgow contact Phone: (02) 6351 2312. The pub has a lot of different rooms and accommodation options at their motel out the back
see here . Get onto it ASAP ;)

The ride will be slightly shorter than the previous rides as we have lost the benefit of daylight savings. The ride has been advertised elsewhere and we have had a fair amount of media around the Nav rides so it may fill faster than before I recommend you get your name down ASAP as I don’t want anyone missing out.

You need a 300km minimum fuel range just in case (remember a fuel bladder or the likes can be used to extend your range) and must have your own GPS that can have a map loaded on it. No 300km fuel range, no GPS, no ride. There is no support vehicle, no cornermen, no sweeps. People will be required to ride in at least pairs for safety sake. No solo riders this time, I will not be looking for or worrying about someone missing on their own. This time at least pairs or more so they would know if their buddy is missing or down it’s the only thing I ask.

This is not a race or a show of how big you think your dick is it’s not anything, just me riding and sharing a map as such, my map or where I am going finishes in Lithgow the afternoon of the 23rd. Numbers maybe limited I am offering you a route (like a map) and recommendations (like someone asking out a car window) as to distances between fuel and accommodation etc. Fuel distances later

With thanks to Yamaha and Adventure Moto supporting these unofficial rides and me so I can find and ride these routes. This means I can share them with you. ;)

The overnight stay on the Saturday night will be at Orange.

Because of the large number of riders we cant all fit in the one establishment and will need to spread around town a little as such.

Important tip: To have your maps for Sunday loaded you will need to come to the Hotel Orange at the cnr of Summer and Peisley Streets (324 Summer street) on Saturday evening between 6 and 9pm. Amy, Pete and I will be loading GPSs during that time, you will be able to grab yourself dinner and a drink and share some stories of your days adventure with the other riders. You will also be able to get the hints and riddles to locate the start for the next morning! All will be explained at the riders briefing on Friday night at the Commercial Hotel Motel Lithgow at 9pm ;)

TB, Pete and I will be loading GPSs both nights.

   IMPORTANT…….. to assist us can you please make sure prior to the Friday night all your previous tracks and data are removed from your GPS.
Save any tracks you want to keep into your base camp files on your home computer so your GPS can be cleaned. This will make it easier for us to share the route with our friends :) :cheer: .
Your GPS needs to start with a clean slate!!!
By doing this it will save us a lot of time and hassle on the night. If you don’t know how to remove the data from your GPS, be at the Commercial Hotel Motel Lithgow at 5pm on the Friday for TB’s GPS lesson. On the Saturday night we will be at the Hotel Orange between 6 and 9pm.

    See you all then,

    Flying Fish
