    Well,
Things didn`t go to plan yesterday morning,, well there really was no firm plan
Met up with an ORE member (and possible Old Bull in the future) Lewy610, Who shall now be known as “LEWY690” Nice surprise to see another Orange weapon out on the trails actually. Last I rode with Lewy he had a nice Husky 610, but admitted it was an impulse buy to get on the trails and secretly he was waiting to buy a new 690.

We headed up to Mulbring and onto Sandy Creek Rd to look for some dirt back roads/trails to link to Abernethy.
Well that is where things went a bit crap,,, found a Wellness Centre with a big arse gate and thought it was no through (but later looked like it was fine)
Anyway, we back tracked to Kitchener then I decided on the fly to head to original plan and go up Mt View to check the view (never dissapoints) Sorry ,, no cameras onboard today so NO PICS :S
Went up the the rock face lookout then back down and out to Millfield the back way, slabbed it to Wollombi and thats where the fog set in , pretty cool thru there and along Yango Creek Rd, plenty of water in the little causeways too ,,,

Laguna for a dash of fuel , sausage roll , a cold drink and a chat. Turns out Lewy & I pretty much went thru school together,, Small World we live in

Then the old fav run back over Watagan Creek Rd, which is in a bad way till you hit the fresh graded bit halfway in (the rest is underway) Up and over the top to the Pines and then wound back thru to the Mountain Bike Park and Becks Rd.
Parted ways there as Lewy had things to do at home and I needed another drink and some air for my leaking front tyre

I then decided on the fly to link some dirt trails and power line tracks to get back to Killingworth and then home for 12.15pm

Thanx again Mark for the company, it`s always good to have a wingman along just in case !!!
That 690 looks the goods mate and I`m sure it will develop forther into a terrific ride for you for years to come . He is saving for a set of racks to mate with his Guard It top rack and keen for some multi day ADV Adventures. I gave him the heads up on what goes on here and he sounded super keen to get amongst it !!!

Cheers, and I`m sure we will cross paths again soon . ;) ;) ;)
Next time I will do more groundwork on the route :silly:
