    Hi All,
I picked up this little beauty a couple of weeks ago.
Its a 1984 (twin carb) XR 350, got it for $900 with a rebuilt top end (With receipts).

I plan on doing some Vinduro, maybe the scrap heap and maybe even some light adv work (no tar) with it, not before a rebuild though. :pinch:

The plan is to strip it down, acid dip the frame, do any repairs to the frame that want doing then have it powder coated? or painted.

Put it back together with all new bearings, bushes, seal etc and go from there.
Will post pics as it is all happening.

Why do I do these things?????? :S

AS far a scrapper goes, she looks like all you need is a full tank of petrol and away you go!! Pretty tidy old girl, will make a good base for a resto job!

Paint not powder coat as it chips easier from experience. Also make sure you get all the acid out of the tubes etc cause it seeps out over time and wrecks you paint / powder coating also from experience :pinch: sand blast ;)

Looks a cracker well done mate
