Flash as a rat with a gold tooth.
Dropped into Suttos to try on some boots as my old ones are literally falling apart. Tried on a few pairs but my feet are quiet wide at the front making me have to size up to get a comfy pair of boots. Then I slipped on these puppies and they fit like a glove. Price was cheaper than online OS stores  gotta be happy about that. Will see how hey hold up but Gaerne have a pretty good name for quality.
April 26, 2013 at 8:12 am #240458Very nice indeed Scotty, its good that Sutto’s are competing with the states where they can

Gaerne do have a good rep, and a good energy rating too by the look of it :laugh:PTW

Sounds like you have Hobbit feet.
The Big G = Galey
April 26, 2013 at 9:40 am #240459I’m just breaking in my second pair.
I was happy with the fit of the first, and I can’t remember how long they lasted
Might mean I have old timers disease

Adam.

April 27, 2013 at 5:32 am #240485I’ve got a pair of black Gaerne SG10’s on order as the shop only had my size in white.
But looking at those I might change my mind.

April 27, 2013 at 5:53 am #240486Good to hear the Gaerne boots are comfy.
I have found Sidis very good, and they are awesome from new.
April 27, 2013 at 6:10 am #240489I got a pair of Thor Quadrant for 80 bucks from the seconds bin at MCA when I got my KLR and went on my first adventure ride. A very tame affair compared to the Old Bull events.
I couldn’t walk in them, change gear or brake properly. They also leaked like a sieve and I looked like a right knob riding to work in them.
Other than that they were great.
Soon changed to BMW Savanna’s. Great touring/commuting boot but I tghink the extra protection of an mx boot is the way to go on the next OBT ride, hence the SG10’s. Anybody got ’em?

Thanks ECKS-man, PTW and I were talking about the different ways to pronounce bike product brands like Arai, shoei, acerbis and gaerne.
