Went for a drive to Bobs local area the other day and we rode a heap of singles. Some old some new and some had to be recut in. A few nice flowing closed in fire trails and one cool section down a creek all trials like we were (sort of).

A couple of snotty hill section to test my new jetting out. Thanks for the specs Nato.

Great day out and had a heap of fun riding with Bob.

90km in 6hrs and 1 hour with of rests.

No photos and only a bit of video with Bob behind me.

Looks like more fun than I had on Saturday, started work at 3am home at 10 then took 3 ute loads of trees, weeds and leaf litter out of my yard, been pissing down since Saturday night so the rest will have to wait for another day.

The trails looked to be in good nick.

Bob’s faster than me Eags. I was kind of holding him up. :(

I was having fun so I don’t really care if I held him up.

Yeah I wasn’t happy the first few kms but once I got the hang of the new power delivery it was much better than before.

Still nice and damp from the rain. Sun out and cool temp (10 degrees). :)

How did it affect your fuel economy?

I think it’s better. We topped up at 42km and I only had about 3L with me. Recon I used 4 and bit. I’d be happy with 10km/L.

You should be able to get close to 100km from a tank. On evs lowana ride I would have got close to 115km and lc knows what his rides are like out there.

    #244548

    I have a 10.5l tank on the 12 though.

Fuel economy couldn’t be any worse than it was, Mal.
    Hope it has improved it
Will have to check out your vid when I get home this arvo.
    Cheers
