Kid dropped the bike on right side and busted the clutch cover. Ordered a TMV billet from thumpertalk. My question is: What do I have to do to take the old one off and how to replace the new one? Never did any work what so ever to a bike! Is it as simple as laying the bike on it’s side, take the six bolts off and taking it off and put the new one on! Do I have to drain the oil, or is it ok with it being on its side. HELP!!!!!!!!

Just as you said dmac, lay it on it’s side and pull the old one off and put the new one back on. Just be careful not to damage the gasket if you haven’t got a replacement.

Just make sure the bolts are all the same size/length. sometimes some are longer & you don’t want to force it in a small/shallow threaded hole
