    just a quick report

3 of us got up to Nundle on Saturday. still not much rain since we mounted bollocks so the smaller group was ideal for the conditions. luke sent me a msg mid week wanting to go for a ride after 3 or so months off after doing a shoulder in.

I hadn’t been on the bike since the obt Nundle ride and had been walking in some new tracks. so I was keen as mustard to get in there. a few msgs then shot out from my phone which saw logan coming on deck too.. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

we met at the school as always, I was the last one to turn up only to find about 12 cars with bikes on ready to go  (wtf its going to be dusty) this was another group going to the berry patch 😆
we met a chatted for a bit. nice buch of blokes then parted was and headed for the farm…

I showed the boys some tracks I had been working on in the hanging rock side of the forest. had to get the iron and smooth things out and make a couple of chicken routes, but im sure they will turn out well, once we get a few more bikes on them!!

we run half way up the steps, it seems to be smoother than normal I think a dozer may have been playing around. We turned right and made our way to hoads farm rd, till we found a fire trail which took us to one of my singles I have been working on. seemed to be a good way, I didn’t get much on vid as being up front is a little boring for the viewers .. Unless they like watching me drop my bike every 2seconds on the fresh never riden trails.

snowys monkey is still full of air one month later that’s cool

hit more singles till logan came unstuck and kissed a tree near the hut. that was the end of the day and we slowly made our way back to camp via the new singles I had marked out to try and cut a line through…

ill post up some footage soon

thanks for a great day out fellas and the cold beer at the cars logan had a blast

Sounds like you guys had fun. Sorry I missed it, but the bike will be back on deck by the end of the week. I hope there’s not too much damage to Logan’s bike

Great ride on Saturday, although a bit dusty.

Andy’s new tracks are brilliant. They were a bit hard to get grip on in a few sections because they were so dry and never been riden, but they will only get better with more bikes over them. :)

The new bike went really well. A few get offs, a few scratches and a couple of smashed off hand guards. One bent brake lever and one broken clutch lever.

I kissed a tree and like Snowy’s tree, it rejected me. Thanks to Luke who was on the spot to help me back up. :pinch: :pinch:

Luke was riding like he had never been off the bike, well done mate – welcome back.

Thanks to Andy for the use of the paddock and for leading all day.

    Vid to follow…..

great first edit on your new go pro mate.. :cheer: I reckon the go pros have great stability control .

(yes TB I did say something good about the silly square camera in the plastic box 😆 😆 )

you had a bit of every thing in there!! man that fmf pipe makes you sound like you are just idling every where ,,,, while my 250 was screaming …

that was a big hit on that tree no wonder there was bark missing on it A….

look forward to the next one mate we should be better on the new tracks now we know what to expect.

and r getting more used to those new knee braces

New bike sounds nice. Shame about the tree  Another Nundle cam love it ya cant do nothing wrong now without ending up on the stacks file. I would have been on that ride but 3 days 308kms around gingers sore me stand that one out 😆

Haven’t been around Nundle since the big ride, count me in too.

Thanks to Andy and Logan for a great ride.

It was good to get back on the bike after a bit of time off and Andy’s new singles sure got the pulse going.

Logan’s bike looked great at the start of the day but Nundle did its best to leave its mark.

Nothing like a solid ride and all riders fit and well at the pub drinking a cold one to make for a great day.

I have put a vid up, sorry for the length (still trying to figure out this gopro stuff). The vid looks best watched in HD if you have the option. The bit that most people will watch is at the 14:50 mark where Logan kissed a tree and it was a nice kiss at that.

Thanks again guys and ready for the next ride. :)

WOW Logan that was a hit. Hows ya knee / leg. Man that was soiled. You guys were havin a ball before that tree.

When ya replace the hand guard make sure you get proper bark busters. You seem to like the new ride so don’t throw it at anymore trees. Wow I can still hear it hitting that tree.
