Out with the old trusty WR and replaced with a shiny CRF. Lets hope the Honda is as faithful and reliable as the old one was

Looks the goods mate. I made the same change just over a year ago and have not looked back. The CRF handles beautifully once you set it up and the Showa suspension is top shelf.

    Enjoy.

Changed the gearing already to tame it down in the lower gears. Off to technics in a few weeks to set the rear end sag and and maybe new springs and revalve in the front. Will let them decide. Then a few decent rides. It already handles better than the old WR. Won’t touch the engine as it already has enough go go to tackle anything I throw at it. The chain chews the rear knobby a little so will have to be careful with tyre selection so I’m running the chain on the the tight side of normal to reduce any chain slap that maybe occurring. I’m definitely not looking back but only forward to the next adventure on the trails
    Cheers for the reply
