    FIRST RIDE 31 JAN – 2ND FEB 2014

    WAUCHOPE/NAMBUCCA

Welcome to the first in our 2014 rideADV.com.au ride series. Please note that this is the first of our paid rides and for that you get a fully supported ride and GPS routing loaded onto your own Garmin GPS (map loading from 6pm). Please bring cash on arrival (Introductory rate of $50.00 per day per rider) or you can pay using your credit card or PayPal via the AdventureMoto website. We meet on Friday evening the 31st January for GPS loading around 6pm and the rider briefing (9pm) with a chinwag. Please fuel up in Wauchope and grab dinner before arrival or after you unload your bikes. Breckenridge is only five minutes to Wauchope and there are a number of pubs and restaurants.

The ride starts both mornings at approximately 7.30am. All riders should depart no later than 8.30am. It is set to be a cracker of a ride with some great scenery and not too challenging trails. The ride is suitable for all single and twin cylinder ADV bikes depending on your skillset. Please, if you are a beginner check with the Trail Boss and we will assist you in any way we can to ensure you get the best experience on this ride. ALL RIDE PARTICIPANTS MUST RIDE WITH A RIDE PARTNER. ALL RIDERS OR PAIR OF RIDERS SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST ONE GPS BETWEEN THEM. Please look after your mates and the lead and sweep riders will look after the group as a whole.

That would make it a $ 1500 + weekend , $400 not earned Saturday $ 600 not earned Sunday and $500 spent on accommodation , tyres , fuel and other associated costs for a good fun weekend . WAAYYY too steep for my budget at the moment , The Last one I took long service leave for so it was not too much of a financial hit , still cost me in excess of a grand all up though . I am on a tight budget , the minister for war and finance makes sure I keep to it  ……… most of the time ;) . Plus , I have a four day weekend the following weekend , which will see me go riding somewhere , just got to work out where and with whom .
